May at Younode

By PR Team

Hello from Younode's PR Team.

In Sapporo, the season has become bright and refreshing, with a pleasant breeze passing through the city.

For this May topic, we would like to share news about a new service from Younode.

We have officially released Ozu, a new local Markdown sharing tool that we planned and developed from the ground up.

What Kind of Tool Is Ozu?

In short, Ozu is a tool that lets you quickly share Markdown from your code editor and keep updating it at the same URL afterward.

Markdown is widely used by engineers and development teams. Many teams write specification notes, research materials, manuals, and internal documents in Markdown every day. But when it comes time to share those documents with the team, have you ever run into problems like these?

  • If you post it in Slack, it gets buried: The document disappears into the flow of chat and becomes hard to find later.
  • If you move it to Notion, you end up managing it twice: Keeping both the local file and the Notion page updated is tedious.
  • GitHub can feel too heavy: When you only want to show something quickly, opening a pull request can feel excessive.
  • The URL changes every time you update it: Editing and resending the same document becomes a hassle.

Ozu solves this problem of document sharing that does not continue smoothly after the first share.

The workflow is simple. Install the extension in an editor such as VS Code, press a button, and a shareable page is created. Then, when you update the local file on the same device, or on another device after reconnecting, the page your team sees is automatically updated while keeping the same URL.

Comment from the Engineer Behind Ozu

We asked the engineer who planned and developed Ozu about what they focused on.

"Ozu came from a problem we felt every day: sharing the latest specifications and notes just did not keep working smoothly. I focused on making it as quick and easy to use as possible, and on creating that satisfying feeling of turning an editor file into a shareable page in an instant. This time, I handled everything from planning to implementation myself, which helped keep the product clear, consistent, and easy to use."

Our PR Team Is Already Using Ozu

In fact, we used Ozu while drafting this blog post. With just one button, Markdown turns into a clean, readable page, which has been very helpful.

Personally, I really like Ozu's gentle and stylish atmosphere.

It is a tool we would recommend not only to software development companies and engineers, but also to any company that frequently shares documents written in Markdown.

Final Thoughts

Ozu is currently offering an early adoption plan with 30 days free and onboarding support.

If you want to make document sharing easier to maintain, or improve how information is shared across your team, please feel free to try it.
